How to Apply a Wig

Full lace wigs have been always very popular all over the world through out the history due to their versatility and believability. Some people wear them for the wanting to cover a bald head. However, some women choose to wear a wig to change their hairstyles for beauty look. Today, there are many various kinds of wigs for your choice. A good quality wig looks so natural that people cant tell it is a wig. Here i strongly recommend the VHair with high quality with competitive price. Of course, correct application of a wig will make it look natural and feel comfortable.

Things You'll Need:
Flesh-colored wig cap, Hair clips, Scissors, Cotton ball, Isopropyl alcohol, Scalp protector, Wig tape, Wig adhesive, Cotton swab

The application instruction:
1. Do a skin test.
You should do a skin test to determine whether or not you are allergic to the chemicals used to keep a wig in place. Smear a small amount of liquid adhesive or double-sided wig tape onto the back of your hand and observe the adhesive for at least twenty four hours. If the skin becomes red or irritated, purchase a hypoallergenic wig tape or adhesive to use instead. If the skin is unaffected, you can safely wear the wig.

2. Flatten your hair.
To flatten your hair, you braid short hair into corn rows or mold it against your head using gel and bobby pins. Whats more, you can also use gel or hairspray to achieve this effect. When your hair is well flattened, the wig will look more natural.

3. Put on a flesh-colored stocking cap
Put on a flesh-colored stocking cap gently and adjust the cap so that it barely covers your hairline. You should sightly pull up the stocking cap, not disturbing your flattened hair.

4. Clean the skin
You should use a cotton ball dampened with isopropyl alcohol to remove body oils that could prevent the wig adhesive from sticking properly. If your skin is sensitive, you can apply scalp protector to the skin by your hairline.

5. Test the fit of the wig.
To make sure the wig fits properly, place the wig on your head and line it up with your natural hairline. If the wig doesn’t fit, you can use the tightening straps on the inside to adjust these for a proper fit.

6. Trim the lace on the full lace wig.
Once your wig fits properly, you need to trim the lace if the lace hasnt been trimmed by the manufacturer. You should use the sharp pinking shears, trim the lace along  Be careful not to cut any of the wig hair. Leave a little bit of lace sticking out past the wig hairline, but no more than 1 inch.

7. Apply wig tape.
Apply wig tape to the edges of the full lace wig. You can fist cut six to ten small pieces of wig tape and then line your hairline with the small pieces of tape by pressing the sticky side against your skin. The tape is applied to the edges of the lace around the underside of the wig. Wig tape can be used alone or in combination with wig adhesive.
8.Apply the wig.
Carefully place the wig on your head. The easiest way to find the front-center of the wig is to part the hair on the wig. Parting the hair will reveal the hairline. The middle of the wig hairline should line up with the middle of your forehead at your hairline. Press down on the edges of the wig for five seconds to make the adhesive stick to your skin. Style the wig as desired.
